Mindfulness meditation can help with anxiety, depression and with practice; it can help you to develop a set of life skills that allow you to relate to what is happening around you with more wisdom and compassion. Mindfulness meditation can help you to focus better, stay calm and deal with unwanted thoughts and feelings with clarity and a calmer mind.
Solihull mindfulness meditation groups are suitable for anyone with an interest in being more mindful. They are not therapy sessions so you don`t need to talk about anything that you don`t wish to. They are very relaxed groups with the emphasis on listening and learning.
All you need to do is be open to the process of being mindful and spending around 10-15 minutes a day meditating.
I will be running groups for children, teenagers and adults in 2018 which will target different things such as exam preparation, performance anxiety and confidence building.
My groups are small, friendly and welcoming. You can participate as much or as little as you would like to. Some people like to sit and absorb information and some write notes, the choice is yours. The rooms are spacious so if you would like to spread out or sit on your own, you can do that comfortably.
You are welcome to book private group sessions with me, just drop me a line or call me with an outline of your needs and I will be in touch to discuss some ideas with you.
I will provide you with course notes and MP3`s/CD`s. You can also have the course notes as an audio file.
If you are suffering with chronic depression or high levels of anxiety, 1-1 sessions with me might be more suitable which will also include hypnotherapy.
