Mindfulness meditation can help reduce anxiety and depression. It is also a fantastic way to improve self confidence and self-esteem.
With practice, it can help you to develop a set of life skills that allow you to relate to what is happening around you with more wisdom and compassion. Mindfulness meditation can help you to focus better, stay calm and deal with unwanted thoughts and feelings with clarity and a calmer mind.
Solihull mindfulness meditation groups are suitable for anyone with an interest in being more mindful. They are not therapy sessions so you don`t need to talk about anything that you don`t wish to. They are very relaxed groups with the emphasis on listening and learning.
All you need to do is be open to the process of being mindful and spending around 10-15 minutes a day meditating.
If you are suffering with chronic depression or high levels of anxiety, 1-1 sessions with me might be more suitable which will also include hypnotherapy.
I also run bespoke private workshops and groups which are between 1 – 8 hours. These are available in your home, workplace or at Maple Leaf Counselling Centre. I currently have private and corporate groups in Coventry, Balsall Common and Solihull with group sizes from 6 – 14.
You tell me how many people, location, what you would like to achieve and I will arrange everything for you. It could be a small group of friends who want to learn together or a larger corporate setting.

Mindfulness meditation workshop in Hockley Heath

During this workshop you will learn some practical and easy to learn mindfulness techniques which can help reduce stress, anxiety and depression and boost your mental well being.
You are invited to stay until 12.15pm where you can enjoy a mug of coffee/tea and a cake (included in the price).

Each session will include guided meditations and mindfulness techniques. There will also be some piano meditations.

What is mindfulness and how can we incorporate it into our lives?
Week 2: Choosing how to react
Learning how to react mindfully.
Week 3: Why am I talking? (WAIT)
Accepting that silence is beneficial and how we can practice it.
Week 4: The power of compassion
Learning how to care for ourselves and others and how we can bring about a boost in our mental health.
How to book
Workshops cost £25 and 4 week courses cost £55 per person paid in advance. Payment in cash, bank transfer, PayPal (you don`t need an account) or cheque.
