How I can help…
Hi, my name is Ceinwen. My role as a therapist is to talk to you and find out more about you, giving you a platform to talk openly. We work together confidentially to reduce and let go of unwanted thoughts, behaviours and patterns.
Hypnotherapy and mindfulness can treat and help a lot of different issues including weight loss, anxiety (including panic attacks) and addictions such as food and smoking. There are many other conditions and issues that I can help you with and if I don’t feel I am the right therapist for you, I can help you find the right one.
Feel free to ring or email me irrespective of your issue. I can help you even if you are unsure of what is going on or you struggle to articulate yourself. Just have an open mind and talk as much or as little as you like. If you find that you don’t know what to say, that is fine as the more you relax, the easier it gets.
Nothing shocks me, I am non-judgemental and having personally experienced hypnotherapy and mindfulness meditation. I fully understand how it feels to sit with a stranger and talk. I will make it as easy and relaxing as I can.

Clinical hypnotherapy is very different from stage hypnosis. I can guarantee that nothing strange will happen to you and I am more than happy to record your sessions and email you an MP3 to listen to. Only listen to your recordings when you are lying or sitting down, never listen in the car (even when the engine is turned off) or when you may be distracted.
Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation where you can access your subconscious mind to make life long positive changes. You need to be motivated and committed to change. Being open-minded and willing to listen to your bespoke hypnosis recordings and keeping a reflective journal are important elements of your progress.
Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy and does not replace medical care. Always seek advice from your GP or other healthcare provider and please do not stop taking medication without professional medical support.
Hypnosis cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do and if you asked me to do something unethical, I would have to stop working with you.
